Studio 8 aimed to expand and consolidate the campus of the Dominican University College (DUC) – an affiliate of Carleton University with a focus on philosophy and theology. Given the location of the campus, the DUC was a well-established institution within a changing community. The endeavor was to design a respectful campus which expanded the DUC as a public institution while retaining privacy as a place of worship and scholarship.
